A pair of spurs made in the steampunk aesthetic. Apart from the cogs all components were scratch built. Created for my costume in the Clockwork Quartet.

Wow these are nice. How did you make them? Cast the brass with a special machine?
Id love to try to make some but don't have the equipment so would have to use scraps
The only powered tools I used were a pillar drill and a dremmel. All the sheet metal was cut with hand tools. This is a very doable home project so go for it! Though cutting 5mm brass with a fret saw is arduous ;)
